Museum of Science + Industry Updates 02.15.10

One of the best Chicago museum updates its brand. I wish MSI had chosen a Chicago firm to do this (NYC studio, FutureBrand did it), but it is a nice upgrade. Works nicely animated. From Gapersblock.

A little late, but just thought I’d drop an update. Business is finally picking up and working like crazy on a few projects lately. Since the last update, I’ve updated the STA Website and currently working on the Chicago Cubs 2010 Convention materials. In a few days, I’ll be setting up a committee for the STA to develop a stronger Internet and Marketing presence. Let me know if you’re interested in helping.

Vignelli Returns to Chicago 11.22.09

I had a lovely time at the Seek Conference yesterday. Got a opportunity to see some great designers speak of their work, which included Massimo Vignelli. He was charming, engaging and honest about his work. If you have the opportunity, come see him at the STA/AIGA book signing on December 11.

ADC Goes Franklin G 11.09.09

Graphic Hug informs of the change to the Art Directors Club logo to typeset Franklin Gothic. Not that excited about the change. The previous logo had some nice charm to it.
